One big sky.
Hundreds of players and thousands of floating islands on one chart. Every island is somebody's to found, hold or lose, and the factions' borders move as the weeks go by.
A large 4X for many players that never stops moving. Found a settlement on a floating island, build works and a fleet, trade, and hold your sky against the other factions. The world ticks on whether you are there or not: give it ten minutes at breakfast or an evening, whenever suits you, and play a game that runs for weeks.

Hundreds of players and thousands of floating islands on one chart. Every island is somebody's to found, hold or lose, and the factions' borders move as the weeks go by.

A day in the game passes in about an hour of yours. Farms, works and queues run while you are away, and a voyage you order at night has arrived by morning.

Strategic, but it never needs your full attention. Give orders, close the tab, come back whenever suits you. A game runs about six weeks, and nobody has to be there at once.
Lay out a town, farms and works, feed and house your people. Queues run while you are away; the island is a status display you can read at a glance.
Build hulls, provision them, and reach the islands worth having. Range and cargo are the game; the Charterhouse buys what you bring back.
Batteries, torpedoes and manoeuvre against the other factions. Standings are kept game by game and across the season.
Free to play in official games. A new one opens on a fixed rotation, so there is always one to join, and a late arrival gets a fair start.

Real games are made from a form now: map size, island density, AI players, places, and the Charterhouse’s figures. Money comes from the house alone.
Unguided spreads fired close in, seeking rounds fired at range, and a torpedo boat on the iron patch.
